It seems the controllers at Fisk either mis-identify, think we are in the lower altitude lane or fail to identify...expecting this helps. We are where we are supposed to be, strobes and landing lights flashing, 2300'msl and 135 knots. The big problem is about 1/2 the time someone ahead gets way too slow and it would be very uncomfortable to downright dangerous in any Lancair. Just like a freeway slowdown chain reaction it just takes one vehicle. One year we had an RV8 and a Glasair fly right over the top of us on base to 36 Left while we are trying to avoid climbing the tail of the guy who was trying to avoid the next guy. If the Warbird Arrival is not permitted for our Lancair Legacy we will either arrive before the procedure is in place or park at Appleton.
