I too will be going to Copperstate but won't be flying my Lancair. We recently finished building a replica of the 1938 Schoenfeldt Firecracker which was raced successfully in those days by the famous Lockheed test pilot, Tony LeVier. I've been flying the time off and hope to bring it out to Flabob Airport in Riverside where the owner, Tom Wathen, lives. If the creek don't rise, I'm planning on stopping at Copperstate enroute. it's a beautiful plane, but is a real handful to fly. Pat Halloran
