    I have a sensitive antenna in = my=20 Lancair's V-stab. I made it from thin brass sheet formed into a = half-circle and=20 nestled into the V- stab spar just ahead of the rudder. It is a = half-wave=20 dipole, so there is an equal upper and a lower half extending the = length of=20 the spar. It is fed from Andrew FSJ1-50 at the center, with = two 1/4" ID X=20 1" long ferrites over the coax near the feed point to form a=20 quasi-balun.
