 Were you using an HVLP system?  I've done the lower half of my fuselage with
 WLS - rolled on first coat, then HVLP'd 2 more coats, but the sanding in
 between was easy, the finish looks great, and the overspray problem was
 minimal.  Perhaps also the formulation may have been improved since the mid
