That cooler on the TSIO and the G can actually work too well and keep the oil well below 180 degrees, the temperature the vernatherm is set for. I believe that's why the oil cooler door was originally designed into the system. I really don't think it's necessary with the G. My door is up on the shelf in my hangar too. That cooler on the TSIO and the= G=20 can actually work too well and keep the oil well below 180 degrees, the=20 temperature the vernatherm is set for.
