Geez, Bob, I sure appreciate that! You know, I was in Denver and Colorado Springs this weekend working on customers L-39's and you can imagine that the military aviators at COS took note of the slick looking jets and stopped by to inquire - saw nearly every piece of USAF hardware there in two days, BTW.
I have made it a habit to thank these young men and women for their dedication and service to our country, and I love the half surprised half grateful response it usually gets. When I see videos of Islamic fundamentalist "summer camps" brain washing little boys to die killing Americans and Jews, it makes me re-recognize that the ONLY thing that will keep us from destruction are those people who dedicate (have, do, and will, collectively) their lives to protecting our freedoms.
Just remember, if you disagree with me, they are still the ones that made/make/will make the sacrifice so you can disagree....
3.5 from COS to CNO on the way home today, Rockies, Monument Valley, Lake Powell, Lake Mead....just can't beat it.

I am finally deleting your post of June 16. I have read it many times and take solace in it for it says to me that the America in which I grew up is still there. It is not always apparent, but it is still there. Thanks for standing up and being part of it.
