My spinner has an aluminum sheet forward bulkhead formed to meet the cone with a flange about 1/2" wide.
After about 600 hours, this spinner started to show some wear / erosion from contact with the flange.
I made a small trowel out of thin fiberglass with a triangular file and applied some RTV on the flange.
The effect is "V" ridges like you get from a floor cement trowel.  Cure the RTV before reassembly.
It's up to 1387 hours now with no other problems.  No wobble of the spinner is evident at idle.
