Do you have any photos of your solution? Seems like fashioning a
bulkhead to fit up by the dome will be quite a chore.

Uh, not enough pictures, but I have attached a few that show the depth cut
off, blade cutouts and added supports for the aft blade closeouts. I never
did take any pictures of the bulkhead. The piston cup has four holes that
take
bolts used to affix the bulkhead. I used drilled head bolts and safety wired
them. The nylon bulkhead edge was turned on a lathe while attached to a
faceplate made up from a short 1" pipe and a screw on flange. The edge was
cut
at the same angle as the spinner at the bulkhead location. A light coating
of silicon around the bulkhead edge took up any fit imperfections.
Did you squeeze the rivets for the doublers? I was told that squeezed
rivets are far more likely to fail than bucked ones.
