Those 2 (the AirTex one, and the home made one), are great *if* you have an
eglass fuselage.   

I'm pretty sure Jim is talking about a legacy and those are carbon.  So, Jim
what most of the gang was doing, while at build assist in Redmond,  was
this...

Put it *inside* behind the seat.  The seatbacks are eglass and so you get
some view of the sky.  The problem is, if you are upside down.

I'm not about to get into the *what ifs*.  There are lots and for me, the
recourse is to carry an Emergency Personal Locator Beacon with GPS input.
