I have done extensive stall spin training for myself, and insist on it for anyone I teach to fly. These spins are not done in a Lancair BTW. They are taught so that the student will understand and respect them and never get in them by accident. I have seen videos of certain manufacturers intentional stall research that ruptured fuel tanks.
