With my limited experience I have had with a Walter turbine, there is no doubt throttling up rapidly will cause both an overtemp and an overspeed. An overspeed can also caused by moving the prop lever forward to quickly. It doesn't matter whether the turbine is from Diemech or Lancair , both situations will occur. There are no automatic controls (ie. FADEC) to  stop the above , you are the FADEC, so don't blame the arrow blame the Indian.
During one of my takeoffs, I throttled up to 710 deg. C as indicated on the Electronics International ITT gauge, as a precautionary measure I downloaded the data from the TSLM, which showed 710 deg. C.
Based on my experience, I will never buy a Lancair IVP turbine unless it has a TSLM.The TSLM allows a would be buyer to review the engine data which would show how the turbine has been treated. The TSLM benefits far outweigh the cost.
