I usually do the first part of my climb at = this IAS until about 500AGL."" I know I have raised this before, however it is important. Terminology in the global sense should be standardised as there are = readers, owners and contributors to LML who are outside of the USA. I simply request contributors use "Knots" when referring to velocity, whether it be IAS, TAS, GS or any other "S". As I mentioned in my previous listing on this, I have been told by a = former colleague, with whom I raised this back in the good old days, that it = not uncommon for the term "miles", as in speed, to really mean "knots". = Simply because of vernacular. Dunno about other foreigners but I sure would appreciate it. Dom Crain Australia
