I have to confess ignorance.
....except that strobe power supplies are probably
excessively noisy because of high voltage and current swings.
I don't know why position lighting
should be a problem unless it's an LED setup with some kind of pulsing power
supply.
Maybe one of the electrical gurus has a better
idea.
