Here's a picture of my flap position indicator; it doubles as an end plate.
'Really don't know if it increases the efficiency of the flaps, but it surely
allows me to set 10 deg for takeoff and the best reflex angle vs IAS & weight
to get best cruise. 2 degrees change can change speed 1% - 1.5%!
