[LML] Landing Gear tire interference LIV-P

"I find I have a slight interference on the inside edge of the right side tire and the gear door cutout. I would estimate of about 0.5 inch. The left tire misses the cutout by about 0.75 inch. The location is just before the end of the hinge, so can not simply grind the fuselage for the clearance. Any Suggestions?????

I just took a look at my IVP. The tire comes close in several areas but not near the door hinge. Without seeing the situation it is hard to give a good opinion but here is some food for thought. You either need to move the gear door or more the wheel. I would think moving the wheel would be my last choice. That would require changing the gear pivot attachment so as to change the angle of rotation slightly. First choice...Make a poster board template of the "good" door and see how the opening compares to the "bad" side. Maybe the hinge is to long or to far aft. Final suggestion...do this work with the aircraft sitting up-side-down. Your back will thank you.
