After sending my last post on this subject, I realized that I probably missed the point you were trying to make, i.e. whatever the application and whether firesleeve is required or not, Sacramento Sky Ranch makes up high quality, tested, aviation-grade flexible hoses for the lowest cost. Well, for those who haven't started (or completed) the flexible portions of their hydraulic system, this certainly gives them something to consider. An upgrade to stainless braided Teflon and stainless fittings is certainly desirable, but will be costly and requires crimping by either a local shop (for hydraulic hoses) or long distance shop (for firewall-forward aviation-grade hoses).
