Both Brian Winterberg and I have had flashers on our wing tips for a
combination of 600 hours. We Have projection lamp bulbs in out wing tips
that work either as landing or taxi lights or with the flip if a switch
become flashers in the landing or cruise configuration. The system consists
of a school bus flasher perchased at NAPA for abour $40.00 and 2 two wing
tip bulbs. Actually works better than the Whelan Strobes.I allways fly with
both the strobe and flashers on and more than once have had other planes
detour around me before I saw them turn.Very Comforting.Sincerely, Fred
