Bounces those little infra reds right back out, and I think it would be
VERY
stylish.  Certainly would create a sensation when you taxi into the ramp.

Complex high performance Lancair aircraft deserve complex high tech
solutions.  Perhaps a thin gold film sprayed on most of the canopy would do
the trick. This would cost more $$$ and be par with the space shuttle.
Perhaps you are right Fred, the alumanized coolie hat would help.
