I remember seeing this being talked about on the LML I think.. Might have been the Yahoo Lancair ES Group but it looks like they changed the pictures around a little..

I remember when I saw it they used to have a picture on there that showed the cowling which was for a TSIO-550 and he said it came with the Walter Turbine and mentioned nothing about having another cowling or engine mount..

Sorry that happened to you but like you said at least your not out $200,000.00.. 

I can understand how ones judgment gets a little foggy when you’re looking at a Lancair!!

If your still looking around for one ask around I'm sure there's a few out there that are sitting for one reason or another..
