Sorry to spoil a good thread. I just got to the group after a busy week and
had to smile at all the flack John was getting over my Shop Vac. They do
make a bypass type folks! The reason I was wearing them out was blowing air
into the tank to get it thoroughly dry before I was able to draw vacuum. I
appreciated the suggestions that have been made but now am looking for some
type of slosh since this leak appears to be caused by some stress on the
spar created when the main spar bolts are tightened. We are talking about a
tiny leak but ---.

I've heard of a slosh that can be mixed in fuel, left for a couple of days
then the tank is drained and refilled. Anyone out there know if it exists or
a source?
