During my recent trip to San Diego I was flying at FL200.
I had installed electric seat heaters in the rear seat. Both the back
and bottom. They made a significant
difference for the rear pax. This is an inexpensive way to keep them
comfortable.
BTW I had a ground speed of 265 knots!!! I had high cyl
temps on #1 and #2 so I had the MP pulled back to 28”. Normally, I would be at 31” so the
speed could have been higher. To save the math that is over 300 mph. OH BABY!!!!!

My
heater air inlet is in the rear upper baffle (vertical piece) on the copilot
side. I don't know if it's better than where you have yours but the cowl
is probably more pressurized in the back. I still don't get a huge amount
of air through my heater.
