On the subject of a finish for the gear wells I used the Jeffco tank
sealer(grey) and thankfully so as I had a hydraulic line come apart at the
fitting during initial gear tests.Without the tank sealer alrewady in the
wells I shudder to think what a monumental mess that would have been to clean
up.As it was,I simply wiped down the excess fluid and cleaned up the rest
with the household cleaner Simple Green.Should it be necessary later on to
make additional attachments(bids or otherwise)it is a simple matter to scuff
the area just as you would on any other layup.
