The ultimate would be to finish the inside of the gear wells to the same
high gloss as the rest of your aircraft.  It's a lot of work and not
something I did personally.  Truth is, I haven't finished the wells yet and
it's been 12 years.  :)

However, I've used Fleck Stone  http://www.plasti-kote.com/fleck.html in a
few different spots with very nice results.  It hides a multitude of sins
and after the clear coat is applied, is quite durable.  I have it on the
inside of my gear doors.  It comes in a small variety of colours and might
be worth a can to experiment with.
