At somewhere near peak I start to get engine roughness so I slowly richen the mixture to 50 deg. rich of that roughness point. Normally, with just me in the airplane and below gross I will see close to 200 knots TAS. With my bride along and the usual bags and maybe golf clubs and right up at or near gross (1685 for me) I see 195 to 197 Kts TAS. I've never been able to get lean of peak as the roughness starts as I noted above. George
