There have been several occasions in which the LML listserver software has dropped a subscriber's email address from the subscription rolls, resulting in that person not receiving his regular delivery of the Lancair Mail List. For some reason this seems to happen more frequently with digest subscribers, but I have seen instances of immediate mode subscribers being dropped as well. The listserver administrator cannot come up with an explanation for this phenomenon, nor can the authors of the mail list management program, so at this point in time it is something I have to live with but am striving to eliminate as soon as possible. The Lancair Mail List has been in continuous operation for 81 weeks now, and in those 567 days there hasn't been a single one which didn't engender at least a single post from one of our fellow subscribers. The reason I'm bringing this to your attention is to let you know that should you go more than a day or two without a post from the LML I would prefer that you assume the worst and contact me personally to ascertain what's wrong. This way I can check the subscriber listing to see if your address hasn't been accidentally dropped and replace it as soon as possible. If your address is still in the subscription list I can take other measures to ascertain if there isn't something else going on that is getting in the way of your regular receipt of the LML. Needless to say I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause any of you, and I hope that one day in the not too distant future I can announce to you that it is no longer an issue. Thanks for your time and keep those posts coming! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> LML website: http://www.olsusa.com/Users/Mkaye/maillist.html
