I had the same concern when I saw the short length. So I made it long enough to
form a complete loop up into the forward-inboard corner of the wheel well before
joining the cylinder inlet fitting. Perhaps because I made it a bit too long, it
is braced against the walls, but I wrapped it with spiral cable wrap where it
touched. So far so good  (200hrs)
