I heard that Wolfgang Mascheck (N345MW) crashed last August in Austria. As
I searched for more information I found a short article in the local news
about his crash (http://oesterreich.orf.at/vorarlberg/stories/54211).
An eyewitness described that after take-off the canopy opened and initiated
the crash. The pictures show that the tail was separated from the fuselage.

Is there any experience with a not proper closed canopy? What if the canopy
is not latched? (I had once an open Cessna door, but this was a stable in
a 1" open position, no problem)
