is up on jacks, you have to short across the squat switch in order for the gear
to be activated."
Yes, Squat switches do that. Cut into the line,
insert a connector and have another jumper male connector to attach to short out
the system to defeat the squat switch. Remember to remove the jumper and
reconnect the wires after the test.
