The B&C is far and above the superior product both in = longevity and resiliance. I currently use two 116's in my dual electric = system Legacy and ;have no trouble spinning a 10:1 compression IO-540 = Lyc. This engine is hard to hot start and I have strained these = batteries to their limit. Only once did I depleat them. I learned they = are hard to recharge and after calling their technical support learned = that is necessary to "bump them "with a 24volt charger to get the = process started and then shift to a 12 volt charger to quickly bring = them up. I highly recommend this as well as the B&C starter and back up = alternator and also the regulators.
