Mike "Straight Wings" Easley,

It's been several years since we adjusted the = voltage on=20 John's Legacy but if memory serves at the time someone told me that the = voltage=20 went down about one volt per revolution.  We backed off the screw = one half=20 turn and went from 14.2 to 13.8 volts.  At least that's how we = remember=20 it.  On this subject, a word to the wise would be to keep in mind = the=20 location of the voltage adjusting screw when mounting the regulator to = ensure=20 future access.  John's is on the front of the firewall and to get = to the=20 screw we had to drill a small hole in the cowling joggle for screwdriver = clearance.  Can't have too many lightening holes.  =
