I got some charing of the firewall just above the left pipe. I put a stainless shield attached to the firewall that first bends forward, then turns aft and extends just behind and under the firewall. My flexable supports are made from baffeling material and have lasted for 1100 hrs. I'll be glad to send pictures when we return from Mexico next week. Bill Harrelson
