I've had requests to attach the article on "Equipping a Homebuilt for IFR Operations" written by Joe Norris (EAA Aviation Information Center) on 11-13-02. So here it is, attached as a pdf file. Two caveats; He only gives the IFR equipment list, you also have to satisfy the list for day and night VFR. Second, as I pointed out in my article, I question his statement that you have to have a ground based primary Nav system. This was true before WAAS receivers allowed primary navigation with GPS under TSO 146. I don't believe those were around when he wrote the article.
