Guys,
Brent Regan was kind
enough to send me a few pictures of his closed air plenum on his IVP. He is
using the Lycoming engine.
Has anyone developed
a similar system for the Continental TSIO 550E?
My engine is just
coming back from overhaul. In the dyno / test cell it was tightly
cowled. At max power 38.5 mp 2700 rpm it developed 365 hp and the hottest
cylinder was 363F. To me this proves the effect that good cooling can
have.
Just hoping before I
head into the design and build phase!!!
