This probably sounds silly, but at my annual this year I blew into the oil line from engine to oil cooler (yes, that is I put mouth to line and blew) and had the out line in a container.  I could blow through the line/cooler, blow out the residual oil and the result was a free flow of air.  Seems to me that that means the oil should flow through the thing without restrictions.  I have roughly 1200 hours on the engine configuration.

I'd call it a remote possibility. Maybe even unlikely...

Walter and Gene,

So a partially clogged oil cooler at 30 hours is a real possibility?
