Think about Venturi effect and wind-chill lowering the measured temp here.
I'm not expert on this subject but it seems to me that you'd want it in a
passive place if possible (where the air is somewhat static but not overly
affected by airspeed and air movement.) On my IVP, I put the sensor in the
main wheel well near where the Landing gear leg comes through the doors when
extended and right close to the elliptical hole that remains when the gear
closes after retraction.
Any thoughts on this positive or negative welcome.
