Bill. I used to have a landing permit when I first retired but it was only for one base. Later on I was able to expand it to a number of bases and eventually to all bases, but it was a pain in the ass to get it and keep it active. There was a one woman office in the Pentagon that did that but it was a very lengthy process and required all sorts of justification. She was a real empire builder. When approved, a copy was sent by that office to the bases(s) concerned. Since 9/11 I doubt if it is even possible to get such a permit. Pat Halloran
