I just received Legacy Kit 284. It's a Carbon Legacy, but in FG. I just got back this last week from the 4 week program. Pictures are still being organized and there is lots of duplication, but here they are.. http://www.highrf.com/gallery/Legacy-AL-FG BTW, as far as I know there is only one other of this kind. It's completed and flew for the first time while I was there. It's going to Italy, so if I can get mine completed, perhaps I'll have a one of a kind.... At least for a short time. BTW, numbers look very promising for it being only slightly slower (and maybe even not that much) than it's RG sister! Alan ----- My note to the factory below --------------- All, I wanted to pass along a huge heartfelt thanks for all the support, contribution, and most importantly, quality of work that went into my 4 weeks of build assist at your facilities. I don't know how I could have made as much progress as we did in such a short time. This, by far, is an excellent deal for anyone about to start a Lancair Project. I also want to commend the personnel in your build shop. Chris, our "foreman", is a one of a kind individual and I hope you appreciate his value as much as we did. From the first mix of epoxy to the last goodbye, he was professional, knowledgeable, talented, and creative. If anyone needs a recommendation for the quality of work that you can expect from him and his team, please let me know, I'd be happy to pass it along. I'm not sure about other builders who have completed build assist, but there certainly was a chemistry between, not only the build team that assisted us, but the other builders in the shop while we were there. It was certainly nice to have another Legacy being built that was a week ahead of us. Not only did we have Chris and his team, we could also go look at the other Legacy to determine how the finished effort was suppose to look. That saved countless amounts of trial and error. Not only in the build shop, but also in the rest of the Lancair organization, I've met many individuals that I'm sure will become lifelong friends. I certainly feel that the amount of work that I was able to complete while there, has made an immediate jumpstart towards finishing my project. I couldn't have done it without Lancair and their team! Sincerely, Alan
