I dont know how different the Legecy is from the L-IV, but my manual called for the air-pump assembly to be mounted on the side of the fuselage and the air hose routed thru a rinky dink metal tubing into the seal on the door.

Since the airpump assembly is relatively light, I found it preferable to mount the whole assembly into the door itself and do away with the moveable tubing.  Works great so far.  Regards, Bill Hogarty
