  Hi Tim,

I built one of the first 320/360 LNC2 after the Red Factory 320, Ser# 252.
At that time they moved the baggage bulkhead aft 8 or 10 in. to make more
  room for baggage.

Very soon after that change was made Lancair advised putting it back to the
original position out of fear that it would be too easy to get an aft CG.

The Pump at that time was on the aft side of the rear baggage bulkhead and
very to service in my opinion. What I did was to install the bulkhead in
the aft position and mount the pump and all associated hardware on the front
of the bulkhead. The pump is in the same recommended position as the plans
require, just on the front of the bulkhead. Very easy to install, inspect
  and service! :)

I created a full width cover that fits over the entire area out of 1/4
prepreg honeycomb and upholstered it like the rest of the baggage area. An
added benefit, I have a hatshelf that is 8" deeper than normal. Battery is
  just behind the right seat.

At this time 360DB is not flying as I am modifying with OB gear, XP360
engine and the same Hartzell F hub Prop. I don't expect any major CG shifts
due to these mods as they are on or very near the CG. When flying before
the modification began the CG was right on.

I have standard wing tanks, header tank, small tail and short engine mount.
