John,
I had requested a quote through Skysmith Insurance.  He was supposed to
check with the different underwriters.  The only quote he came back with
was from AIG.  I suspect that he might have been putting words in AIG's
mouth because I didn't see anything about a requirement for factory
inspections in their quote which he forwarded to me with his email.  The
quote for builder's risk was $1295/year.
