I guess he's got some beta version of the autopilot that can read the data. Here's another question, if the GNS 480/CNX 80 will output "needle" information on GPSV approaches, will the DFC 250 fly the "needle"? I talked to Tim Ong yesterday about the Sorcerer. He said he worked with TruTrak on the redesign and thinks the simplified button pushing is worth the price of the upgrade. That's a matter of opinion, I know, especially if it's $4,600! I loved flying my King KAP 150 and KFC 250, simple, easy to fly. I think the Sorcerer is much simpler to fly, $4,600 simpler, maybe not. If my DFC 250 will fly the GPS approaches with vertical guidance with "needle" information, I will likely hold off on the upgrade to the Sorcerer. If Garmin upgrades the GNS 480 software to output the high quality GPSV signal, I might pull out my checkbook.
