I spoke to Tim Ong of Lancair at Sun 'n Fun and he told me that Lancair = are going to remove them on the Legacy as there is too much complication = for very little benefit.. He suggested fitting a triangular shaped ramp about a 1/4" high and a = base length of 1/2" to 3/4" along the leading edge of the gear opening = in the bottom skin to trip the flow and keep the noise down. I was going to make new doors to get them to fit the outback gear but = now I will not bother.
