I'm considering two alternatives for nav antenna location on a carbon fiber
LNC2 airframe.  First, I have ruled out installing the CI158C-2 cat whiskers
on the V stab - it's just looks too ugly up there.

One possibility is to locate the cat whisker on the belly as far forward as
I can, but it will be within 14 inches of the CI122 comm antenna.

The other possibility is to extend the wing about 4-6 inches with E glass
and there should be enough room to install the SA-004 antennas, but I hear
that even a small wing extension can degrade performance.

Has anyone tried either of these combinations?
