 If you have a Garmin GMA-340, there is a jumper that when closed, it will
 increase the music input Gain x10.

 On our ES we installed an automotive CD player, and until we closed that
 jumper it was too quiet.

 I don't remember which pin numbers, but it is clear on the garmin
 schematics.
