<Gerard,
Maybe, but I would expect to see all three wheels exhibit a weak retraction.

On my system, it took about 20 to 30 seconds for the down-side pressure to bleed off after a retraction, with the spool valve oriented incorrectly. After that, the gear was all the way up; >

Thanks Mike, I originally did have this problem--pressure stayed in the downside during retraction and as it bled off the nose gear door would close in a 3 jerky movements over 20 secs or so. i replaced the valve assembly with a new one. My porblem now is that everything closes quick smart on the ground but the nose gear door doe not always close in the air. I found that dropping and then raising the gear again allows it to reach full pressure about 1500 psi (which is quite high when compared to the recommended 1200 or so psi). If set at 1200 it the nose gear door simply will not close at all..curiouser and curiouser..??
