He was in the block FL450B470 until they started a descent at about Alamosa, CO. Just FYI, the ground speed was between 215 and 240Kts. Was pretty cool. It was amazing how many airplanes on frequency wanted to know where the Global Flyer was, all morning. It was also pretty interesting, I watched a Citation X (C750) intercept him out there about the grand canyon. I suppose they got some pictures or something, but obviously didn't stay with him. The Global Flyer's call sign was VIR101. Virgin 101. Another chase plane joined up with him in Eastern Colorado for the rest of the flight into Salina, KS.
