Dom, for the rest of your post, quite on target. As for the above (and as an
aside), I have the distinct pleasure of watching Sal Rubino blast down the
runway at the old Castle AFB in his MiG-21 every year at our event
(www.allredstar.com). No trips to Da Nang required! Anyone looking for
somewhere to fly on Saturday, May 14 this year, come on over. Last year
renowned test pilot Dave Morss was there with his LNC2...and his L-29...and
the Polikapov I-16...*that* dude flies some cool stuff!
