We just received our Infinity stick grips and need some information.
We do not plan to use all of the buttons. We will probably de-wire those
unused switches to keep the wiring more compact.
Any comment on this?
Where did you all drill the hole (s) for the wiring to exit the stick?
Any other suggestions are most welcome.
Cheers,
John

[I put Ted Noel's stick in the milling machine, cross-drilled the attachment hole and milled out a slot for the cable (see pic 2180004). The completed product is nice and compact (pic 2190008), allowing the cable to make a large 270* loop to send it forward to attach to its associated plug in the harness. I also installed a strip of baffling rubber (red silicone) between the cable and stick where it exits the bottom of the slot to keep it from getting chafed (also visible in the photo). I imagine there are other approaches, but this is the one we took.
BTW, we used all the wiring... coolie hat = pitch & rudder trim, side-to-side top toggle = aileron trim, fore/aft top toggle = Chelton EAU paging, trigger = A/P disconnect / control wheel steering, thumb button = push to talk, blue pinkie button = Chelton EFIS paging.
