I always ran LOP and would go LOP at cruise power, 31" and 2400 or 2300 RPM.
Went 850 hours with no problems, then sold my plane.  A friend ran his LOP
at 31" and 2300 RPM and went 1500 hours before a top overhaul.

Walter,

What is the maximum manifold pressure at which one may perform the "big
pull" (go LOP)?

Or anyone else can chime in if they know.
