In earlier postings there was some debate about
airflow vs. aerocool systems.
I read through all that and went to the websites
and am left with these questions:
1) Charlie Kohler alluded to a comment from Martin
Hollman that cutting big holes through the bottom of the fuselage (like
Aero-cool does) is uncharted territory. Did anyone do any kind of
analysis (computer or otherwise) to prove or disprove this?
2) Does anyone have numbers for drag on the
scoopless Aero-cool system when NOT operating? (okay I'll take operating
too)
3) I could not find on the airflow site how the
system actually works. In particular, how is the plumbing
done? Does it require coolant lines running across the front of the
gear box and down into the condenser? Then how does it go to the
evaporator?
